Julius Caesar says, “Cowards die many times before their death; the valiant never tastes of death but once”.
Death is unavoidable. It will come about one day or another. Brave men will not care for death and they are always ready to face death. So they do great things without fear. Gandhiji fasted for days together. He was not afraid of death. Our freedom fighters fought bravely against the foreign rule without fear. But to a coward the thought about death itself worries him much. Every moment he is afraid of death, and so he dies every time he thinks of death. Hence the proverb “cowards die many times before their death” is apt.
